Second Day went well. So much preparation and calculation atm but I figure that after the first week, I should have enough variety of meals attempted to make it a little easier as weeks progress. I was silly to weight myself yesterday but just wanted too. I need to increase fiber quickly. :( Will also need to restart exercises but will do this next week. Our daughter needs my assistance with some schooling and need to assist her which makes me very anxious atm. Anxiety has been my companion for the last years... and I can't afford to have more stress then needed. So not increasing expectations of my daily routine. One day at a time should be the moto no? So, deep breathes... will see how the day goes.

Still trying to understand these carbs= fiber, sugar, alcohol sugars. I get the fiber is good, alcohol sugars is slow to spike insuline but the totals don't add up. Will see if today I can make sense of it.

Had energy yesterday to clean part of my sewing room. That is a plus :)
Water Intakes challenge begins which I started two days earlier since it was part of my goals prior to seeing the challenge. Just thought it would be a great motivator to complete one :P

Think this time it will work. It has too. I wonder if my agoraphobia is not increased due to my lack of self esteem. Same goes for my fear of cameras. Always hated being photograph since I was a baby (yep, remember as a toddler the fear of them). Even when I felt good all those years about who I was and where I was, I disliked cameras.

So imagine how a person who dislikes cameras and fear crowds can even begin to function is this society. Almost impossible since they are everywhere! In addition, our government is not helping with the lack of privacy laws imposed. Yes there is a difference imho btw laws and imposed laws. Seems we have too many laws yet many are not put in practice. But that is another subject...lol

No matter, this is my journal and I can ramble if I want too, correct? :)

I have found that going to walmart, at night is helpful. Many cameras for me to face my fear :( but less ppl to overwhelm me.

But here in USA, it is not as safe as my previous country as I am reminded by my American Husband lol To tell the truth, it is not much safer anymore in my own country. The influx of ppl makes increases drama and conflicts in any cities. Its like a family gathering. The more is not always the merrier lol But respect and kindness is still needed...nods to herself.

Safety on the streets are becoming rare. Another reason, I am so anxious and don't watch local news as much. They sent me through the roof upon my arrival over half a decade ago.

Yesterday was so difficulty to apply all that I knew, or researched. I was too low on calorie intake but over on carbs by 20g. Still need to research more about sugar. 10 percent of calorie intake doesn't tell me nothing lol. Taking my water is easier then I thought, though washroom breaks were numerous for this first day and would suggest starting on weekend. Keeping track of all my vitamins and supplements is also a challenge hence the reason I place them in my food diary.(not recommending this for everyone) Family is following with slight differences. For example, I gave my daughter 1/4 cup of grated cheese with breakfast in addition to a toast with little butter. My husband also had a toast. I didn't have any toast because I know that I cannot have more then two slice of bread a week or I gain weight. Noticed that since I was in my twenties....
After looking at carbs and sugar contents of slimfast and having two boxes that I don't want to go to waste, I will modify the intake as such: 1/2 slimfast drink with additional protein powder and water. This will increase protein but reduce carbs and sugar...need to check again. lol my brain is getting to much mathematical exercises :( Probably will have 1/2 cup of frozen fruit with that. Blending it as a smoothie. Cross my fingers for the taste result....*.*

UPDATE: Learned about carbs and Net carbs therefore sugars :) Will only count Net carbs since I am already counting the sugars separately. Fibers and Sugars makes the Total carbs.Hence Fiber is good part of the carbs. Good For You! That means I actually reached my goal yesterday of low carbs. I know it says it in labels but understanding it was different for me *_*

Also, Smoothie with high protein mix and shake turned out nice. Could be modified but generally pleasing. Plus, it cut down my carbs and sugar intake by 5. Yay!
