The way I do recipies now is different than what I used to do. Previous to dieting I would make something and eat as much of it as I looked like I'd want to eat. Now I make the recipe and calculate everything in it (by weight), find the total calories, then divide so have have as many calories as I want in a serving.
So with the curry chicken I made the total is about 2200 calories and the question becomes do I want to make it 4 servings of 550 calories, or 5 servings of 440 calories? In this case I went with 440 since it's getting served with rice

A bit of a rough day at work in terms of food. Someone brought in a ton of donuts in the morning, at lunch we had a noon meeting with pizza, in the afternoon there was a meeting with croissants and little sausages.
Somehow I managed to resist them all but it sure makes healthy eating a lot more like dodging a minefield on days like this.

Going pretty much as planned.
At a work event the other day I ate a reasonable amount of food, and when my coworkers were doing drinks yesterday I only had one shot of rum.
