I'm starting to track my diet again so I can see the breakdown of my diet by macronurients and also to make sure I'm getting enough calories.
This is the last week of a TRX group fitness class I've been taking at the Southwest Recreation Center in Gainesville. I'm going to start doing more cardio and research beginning weight-lifting programs.
My goal is not necessarily to lose weight, but to lower my body fat percentage and build muscle.

I'm back in the saddle again. I saw a new personal trainer today and I'm super excited to work with her. I've been advised to stop playing basketball until I can ran comfortably. After being introduced to my new rehab routine, I'm more than willing to oblige: 10 minutes of balance exercises, calf stretches and bent-knee calf stretches 3 times a day and 1 hour of the treadmill at 4 mph.
I don't think I did too much damage on my Minnesota trip but I'll find out exactly what I'll have too work off tomorrow at weigh-in.

I saw the Physical Therapist for the first time on Friday. My home exercises I was assigned for my ankle are already paying dividends! Soon I'll be able to return to a more consistent exercise routine and I'll be able to adjust my calorie intake.
In other news, I'm packing up today for my trip to Minnesota. My family up there are foodies, so I'll definitely have less control, and less motivation to control, my diet. I'll still be eating healthy and I'm looking forward to some Walleye and Somali, German, Scandinavian and good ol' country food.
Also, I don't think anybody expects to see a skinnier me. I might be just as excited to surprise them ;)
