The holidays are behind me. Now to get down to some serious life style changes. My plan is to give up most pasta, potatoes, rice, flour, and sugar. I plan to eat healthier. Sticking with lean meats, fish, vegetables, and fruits, and nuts. At my age I need to think heart smart.

Well, I'm back from my cruise. Try as I might I am just not strong enough to pass on deserts on a cruise. I did try to eat healthy, sticking with fish and chicken every night. I think I did very well since I only gained 6 lbs. I have already lost 2 pounds, and will have to work hard to make up for lost time before Christmas.
The good news is that I am back on track!

Oh dear, tomorrow I have a Dr. appointment. I hate to weigh in because I just got back from a cruise where over indulging was expected! Needless to say I know I have gained a few pounds. Well, I don't have much time to lose ten pounds before Christmas, but maybe I will be ready for the next challenge! I know what my new years resolution for 2011 will be!!
