Hey!
I'm not a gym goer but I do enjoy walking - I go most days - weather permitting as things are now - but it's surprising just how much better it makes you feel. I walk in a nearby park and it's surprising just how many people you meet doing the same thing most days. I wouldn't lose weight by simply walking - but since it does make you feel much better in yourself you may be more inclined to stick with your diet. Good Luck

Hi All - I'm new here xx
I joined fatsecret a few days ago and I already feel inspired to lose the weight I've gained during lockdown which is 14lbs. Over the past couple of yrs I lost 3.5 Stone and until lockdown managed to keep it off. I have to say I'm really enjoying this site I think it's Great in all aspects and look forward to meeting others here.

Can we lose weight by eating tasty food
IMO The biggest reason to pack in a diet is NOT to eat the foods you enjoy - just don't go OTT with them and try to fit them in with your calorie allowance. You CAN do it !!

Rude awakening
This lockdown hasn't been good for any of us has it - I walked 1.5 miles on 3 consecutive days this week and my body feels like I ran a marathon. We need to keep with it don't we. Looking forward to some good weather so that we can get out a bit more than we have been able to . Enjoy your gardening . I have to say I'm enjoying this site - I'm finding it really helpful in keeping my eating within the recommended calories.
