After a long absence from this site, I'm back and more determined than ever to reach my goal.
Winter is approaching and with it will come an increased temptation to stay indoors and hibernate - the last thing I need after taking on a relatively sedentary job!
SO, as I emerge from a rather stressful, unsuccessful (in the dietary sense) month or so, I'm looking forward to finding balance once again and maintaining a healthier relationship with food.
I've been on a binge/starve cycle for too long (where I overeat during stressful times, then try to compensate by depriving myself for long periods afterwards, which leads to more uncontrolled eating as my body cries out for food!)
It's having a detrimental effect on all aspects of my health. I need to get my head right and allow my body to follow.

Just holding steady.
Start a new job in a week and I think the anticipation is taking its toll - stress eating! Taking every opportunity to exercise though, for its stress relieving and weight management properties.
Need to re-centre and re-focus in order to reach my goal!

Not looking forward to weighing in again anytime soon. It's that time of the month and I'm going through my typical, hormone-induced dip in mood. I've been positively wolving things down to ease my anxiety, then feeling anxious about the damage I've done to my weight loss progress...see the potential for a vicious cycle here? *sigh* Am I alone in my food-crazed escapades that occur approximately every four weeks?!

Feeling discouraged.
Have lost six kilograms since returning to New Zealand 8 weeks ago. Super proud of myself, but no one seems to have noticed. I love that my clothes are looser and I can fit some of my old favourites again, but seriously, a little outside affirmation would really help!
