Adding a custom food for your diary
I think the shared food database leverages our efforts towards a database usable by all members. If you put it in your personal database, it means that you can use it but that it isn't shared with me or other users. The more items in the global database the less we will individually have to enter. I'll bet there will be a lot of poorly entered items, and I am not sure who goes around fixing our mistakes. As the database grows, the pruning task will become bigger and bigger. Eventually, this site will probably get our help to clean the database as well as add things to it.
