I had mcdonalds chips last night while queuing for the midnight release of gears of war 3. Fail. Healthy salad being delivered to the office now though! *phew*

Monday.

the hardest day to start a new healthy eating plan, however, after last night's gorging on cornetto's, chips/dip and pizza, I think I'm well overdue so today is better than tomrorow to start.
I've started drinking green tea (with cranberry). I've heard quite a lot that it helps boost metabolism and weight loss so here goess.....
It doesn't taste too bad actually, I think the cranberry helps a lot! Some websites are saying to drink at least 7 cups a day in order for it to help metabolism (other people have their own stories up saying it helped after 3 cups a day). Hard to know what to believe when it comes to these stories but the hell with it, I'm drinking 7 cups a day just in case!!
So far today I have eaten 2 bananas and 1 apple and I'm
starving
! Thought I had a yoghurt in the fridge in work, apparently not.
My drinks include (so far): 1200ml of water and 5 cups of green tea (no wonder I have been dashing to the loo all day!!)
I have a pork chop (no sauce) defrosting at the moment and that's what I plan on having for dinner with large button mushrooms and peppers. One thing that's vital for me is that I cut down the size of the portions that I eat. It's quite hard to get used to but over time it will get better (I hope!)
Will log on tomorrow and write how my evening went !
