Bad day - fight with my daughter...totally stressed me right out...on the right track now though. Got through it without binging...which is what I really, really wanted to do! Oh well, this too shall pass. Just sucks that I let things even tempt me to stray from my course of a better me..
Oh well...I win this one - which means I will be stronger for the next!!

Made the choice to cheat at dinner. Have read A LOT of people have "cheated" and have jump started their weight loss. I have been stuck for a week even though I have been true to my diet plan. I don't expect to have lost any weight when I do my weigh in tomorrow morning, but am merely hoping that it helps in the following week. I plan to continue to stay my course as I have been. Just thought, if I don't try, how will I know if it will work for me?
I do not plan on weighing until the following week, because I tend to obsess over the scale (I can even weigh myself before bed and be pretty sure of whether or not I will have lost come morning!) so I have asked my boyfriend to hide the scale from me in between Monday AM weigh-ins!!!
Keeping my fingers crossed that this helps!! Later all!

I know weight fluctuates...but ugh. I have a party to go to this afternoon and it is going to be sooo hard to stay on track. The party is at my SIL's house, and my BIL is a chef, so I KNOW she will have lots of goodies. I made it through the baby shower a couple of weeks ago. I ate right before I left and there were items on my list I could have, and not a lot of temptations, so it was fairly easy. Today will be a challenge, especially with the way I have been feeling the last couple of days (dreary weather = BAD MOOD!!)
I know it is all up to me, and if I do choose to stray, I will have to face the consequences. Self-accountability. Responsibility. NO ONE else is in charge of what I do or do not put in my body. Oh well, it will be what it will be.
