I spoiled myself a couple days ago when I did my quarterly trip to the supermarket. I bought a lot of sugar, but I believe in moderation and that's okay. I have been very diligent in recording everything I eat and it is paying of, because I loss 2 lbs this ladt week!!

I found this website after looking up the nutritional information of a Dairy Queen Brownie Earthquake and Dominoes Chocolate Lava Cakes (both are located a couple minutes walk from my apartment). I've been craving a sugary treat most of the day and I haven't had either for a while, but I sick of being controlled by my cravings. So, instead of munching on something I'm writing this. Some back ground is that I never had to think of my diet until I went off to college and gained 30 lbs in a semester. The following year at college I lost that plus a few pounds and maintained that for the next few years until I moved to NYC. I repeated college again by gaining back the weight back and more. I have successfully lost 20lbs but have gotten stuck at 160. I'm taking control of my body. I have quit smoking this last year and over coming that has proved that I can do anything I put my mind to. There is no excuse for being flabby and having a diet that centers around junk food. I believe in moderation and that sugar has its spot in my diet, but when I haven't been active in two days I shouldn't be eating junk food. I hope this website assists me in following a healthy diet.
