I am in my late forties and need to lose weight to feel better and feel a bit better about myself. Using the Protein Power Life Plan to accomplish these goals. Trying to follow the Dilettante style, Purist seems too restrictive for me right now but I am play with it in the future.

Howdy!
Just started using FS in earnest this past week, great site and resource. I started reading Drs. Eades' book, Protein Power Life Plan and am fascinated and am on my way to my goal of feeling better and being revitalized. I can't find the diet listed in the "Diets" section of this site and am wondering if anyone else is adopting a more Paleolithic style of eating, I am following the Dilettante style according to this book. Basically it appears to be more free-range meats and fish and lower amounts of cereal grains but the basic premise is still to reduce carb intake. "Good" fats are still fine but eliminating Trans-fats and reducing saturated fats greatly.

All seems fine now and am loosing weight and starting to feel a bit better. Hope to find some more Protein Power adopters out there.
