My wedding is 10 months and 21 days from today. And I am at the highest weight I have ever been. I refuse to be a fat bride. I refuse to spend what should be the happiest day of my life worrying about whether or not my fat rolls are visible through my dress.
Starting today, I will look at my eating and exercise habits with clear and honest eyes. I'm not going to promise that I will run out today, join a gym, and run for 3 hours. That's unreasonable. I haven't exercised in months; I have to start out slow. Tonight I'll take Fiona for a walk. I've already packed up my lunch for work, and it's reasonably healthy. Breakfast will be half a cup of cottage cheese and some pear halves.
I need to get some new walking shoes, socks, and gloves so walking outside will be not so miserable during ye olde Iowa winter.
