I'm about a lb or two over 182 (13 stone) according to my scales.

I've just got back from another jog, a few seconds over 33 minutes, this time. Disappointed because last time I did it in 30 minutes, but I did have sore legs and it has been a few days as I had to recover from the last "shin splints". ¬_¬ Oh, also didn't eat too sensibly today or yesterday, but not atrociously.

Still, I've recovered a LOT faster just now. Calves are much less sore (not real pain) and although my shins are sore (actual pain), they don't seem as bad as last time. I worked hard on my form and breathing, which I think helped me, once I got past the awkward start.

I'm looking better. Definitely seeing improvements on my legs.

I know they're nothing special, but for me personally, I never thought I'd end up with legs like that at all. Thighs aren't too bad either and will look even better the more bodyfat I lose. :D

Well, it's 8pm. 2 hours until jog time. Just hope my legs are up to it. The shins are fine, it's my calves that are still achey and stiff. I just got into my jogging gear, totally prematurely, but I wanted to get into that frame of mind so I don't back out. lol I'll let you know how it goes by editing this post afterwards.

Just got prepped, stretching and stuff, then I hear rain... look out the window and see angry clouds and see heavy rain... I call my dad... apparently it has been thundering and so we have a nasty looking storm abrewin'. ¬_¬ Now I'm just wondering whether I should bail or continue as planned.

Well, I'm back. 26 minutes. Man, I really struggled that time. The cold air was just really hitting my lungs hard. I dunno if that was it, or if I hadn't recovered (my calves hadn't) from the last jog, but I struggled more than last time. Still, I did okay. Unfortunately, I've got "shin splints" yet again. Always my right shin. It's sore, obviously, and swollen.

I've tried so hard to work on my form, even just my walking form back when I would walk a lot. I dunno what's going on but I'm getting sick of it. I'm starting to suspect foot problems are screwing me up.

I've just got out the shower and rubbed deep heat all over my legs, shins and calves. Guess I'll just do as usual and rest for a couple of days. Hope I don't have to go anywhere. x_x

This weigh-in is not dry weight, as far as I know. I usually sit around 13 stone, 182lbs. I'm expecting the weight to drop fast now that I'm jogging so much.

Went out for a 40 minutes jog a lil earlier. Not long got back. I'm in far, far better shape than I ever imagined!

Very proud of myself. Not only did I get past the anxiety of jogging in public (I have social anxiety) but I also told Depression where to stick it.

Been feeling crappy as of late due to various bits and pieces in life, but I'm pushing forward as best I can.

God only knows how many calories I burned. There were times I sprinted. I mostly jog quite fast compared to what I see from other joggers, but at times I went slow.

Bought some jogging gear today, you see, and I have to say they kick butt. Now I just need a jogging partner... x_x

I left the flat at 10pm though (the time I plan to do that from now on) so I guess I'm on my own. It's peaceful, at least.

Oh, my calves are a bit achey and my shins are a bit sore... perhaps my form lacked. I thought I was making progress with that. It may just be that I was out so long. 30 mintues would've probably sufficed but I was enjoying pushing myself!

Also! I went food shopping again and got plenty of healthy things to cook with. Even treated myself to a slick new frying pan for all my sautéing needs. 8) It's stainless steel, deep (great for flipping and holding plenty), decent base, and has a lid. Very pleased, for £12 too.
