Spent 4 years in the army late sixties and early seventies. Worked as fault service tech in the telephone service after I left. Drove buses and trucks for a while after that. Then moved to Auckland and then become a traffic and airside security officer before returning to driving buses. Resigned a few years after becoming an inspector.
Now live in a caravan on a cattle farm and do a bit of boundary riding and farm security work whilst maintaining a private automatic weather station and supply forecasts to the farm...nice little hobby to keep the brain cells working. Have spinal issues which limits my activity at times. Took up archery as a bucket list and won a gold medal at the New Zealand Masters Games.
