Weight is down despite a generous sized piece of cake on husbands birthday.
Weights before cardio in the gym seem to be paying off. I can lift heavier and more reps doing it first, and it gets you into a better fat burning zone for the cardio afterwards by all accounts.

Over my RDI today, but under the total amount of calories used today as I went to the gym. Big fat roast dinner and cake as it was the husband's 35 birthday today.
He's starting on a diet tomorrow. I'm glad he's made up his own mind to do it, rather than me having to suggest it. I'm not a fan of BMI, I prefer body fat - but for him BMI is fine (I don't think he's ever been to a gym/worked out), but at 240lb with a BMI of 31 he need to do something about it.
The only one in the house who's eating as much as he likes is my son, nearly 3 and a half, he seems to have hit another growth spurt and is eating everything in sight.

Good session at the gym tonight. Didn't do weights tonight as aiming for 3 weights sessions a week - and doing it tonight would have made 4, which might be a bit overkill.
20 minutes rowing machine. 20 minutes hill climb cycling and 20 minutes 6.5kph walking.
Time of the month is here, so will wait until about Sunday before weighing. Hoping for a decent drop, say 2 pounds, just to get back into the 140's.
Even if the weight doesn't drop, I am noticing a change in shape - my old size 10 work trousers fit again, and the 12 won't stay up without a belt.

No loss no gain according to the scales. However the tape measure says I've lost one inch off my waist and one inch off my chest (under bust - bust is still the same unfortunately - I'd like them to decrease proportionally - I'm a 34DD - so I if I drop underbust without dropping bust - I'll end up a 32E - not the result for dieting and exercise that I want.)
I think it'll be down next time though as I'm about to start time of the month in the next day or two, so I feel bloated and full of water. (Even drinking 2 liters of water, a pint of skim milk and no caffeinated drinks had no effect.) So I'll give it a few days and weigh again on Thursday this week - because today's reading, is I know, off.
