Pretty happy about my new Fat Bomb Morning Smoothie... I am really working on getting most of my carbs by way of veggies through out the day....Fat Bomb Smoothie- Dr. Axe Bone Broth Protein powder 1/2 scoup, 1/4 avocado, 1/2 cup spinach, 1 cup coffee chilled, 2 tbsp almond butter, 2 tbsp heavy cream, 1 tbsp coconut oil, 1 tbsp avocado oil, touch of stevia, dash of vanilla it is actually pretty tasty- believe it or not!!! Macros= fat39.15 fiber6.1 Sugar3.75 Net Carbs5.26 Protein19.41 Calories461 *you can always replace coffee with unsweetend Almond Milk, no carbs, a little protein and 30 calories

Well although I'm down I kind of screwed up and went way over my carbs yesterday. Hubby and I went to dinner. I had a salad and Indian spinach with paneer no rice no naan. We got home and did "our thing" lol...listen to music and blazed through 3 bottles of wine...he did drink more than me this time. We hadn't had a night of acting like 20 year olds in a long time. Didn't get to bed till after 3. Thanks god I wasn't licking my wounds today! I have a side business where I am a wine guide and had a private tasting today and the last thing I wanted was wine after last night. I participated with my group but didn't have an entire pour from the 5 bottles so probably had less than a glass. I haven't had hardly any cards today and have drank tons and tons and tons of water. We will see how my escapades turn out over the next day or two! And truth...was it worth it? Hell yes! Lol

I am so excited to see the weight coming off. I feel like I am starting to figure out how to have a balance of cabrs/fats/protein in my diet. That took a minute.This program has really helped me see where my carbs are going. That hasn't been totally easy it is surprising all the places carbs lurk around!In less than 2 weeks I'm down more than 5 pounds!!! WOWOZA!!

Whoop Whoop!! I've been concerned about all the fat I've been taking in... like it just seems like too much so getting on the scales this morning was pretty exciting! 4 pounds down in 8 days is pretty exciting!

Man oh man... can I just say it feels SOOOOOOO not right to be eating sooooo much fat! Don't get me wrong, my food is rich... in fact, almost taste too rich to be honest. Like I am feeling guilty and starting to wonder, is this really good for me? Oh, and let me talk about carbs for just one minute. It is amazing to me that just from eating veggies and 1 cup of strawberries that I am already over 20g of carbs for the day. UURRGG! I think I need to plan my foods out just a little better. I did pick up some almond flour (already had coconut flour on hand) and am looking forward to trying out "pancakes" tomorrow. I was even thinking about using the pancakes without sweetener or vanilla for savory to use for like a wrap or something.
