Ok, I am on the Dia Deux of my journal. Keeping it pretty simple. Salad for breakfast works for me. I had a couple of Salmon patties instead of the can Salmon. I prefer the wild Salmon filets over can or patties, but the convenience of the latter works on mornings when less cooking is better. Pre-prepared cooked wild Salmon is the way to go for the breakfast salad. Kimchi, mustard and sesame oil is a better salad dressing than the bottled stuff. I use to like the creamy ranch dressing but once I read the ingredients, I was like "Meh", and it was easy to let go. Somethings are easier to let go of than others, if I find something is just not good for me or continues to work against my efforts, I can let it go. I want to be healthy and happy. These are priorities for me. I will admit I want to lose inches a bit quicker than is 'normal' but I also know that is just the overachiever in me.

I bought some raw mixed nuts with me today for lunch, I may or may not have them.

Utilized the calorie meter on this site yesterday (after trying to figure the numbers in my head) and today. It is, needless to say, a much easier way to calculate my nutrients!!!

Working on "shredding". Want to loss 5 lbs of fat, tone, sculpt and develop super definition.

I have a cool gig at an awesome Fitness facility, although I do not work out on my shift, it is helpful to help others with their goals and have access to awesome information.

Today, I started my 7 day food journal to keep track of my calories and carbs. My 'program' states that I should be consuming no more than 1800 calories and 169 carbs to reach my goal.

I will do my best to chart my diary (a hand written account) and also post it here, so any interested FS community members can check it out!!!

My work schedule is an afternoon shift, so I prioritize my meals to focus on the largest first thing in the morning. I am not a "eat several small portions a day' person. I am small, but I LIKE TO EAT :).

This morning I started my day with a Large salad consisting of:
Raw Kale w/1/4 cup Egg Beaters,1/2 can Salmon, 1/4 cup Kimchi, tbps/Sesame Oil, tps/Mustard, Hot Water w/Lemon and Coconut w/Aloe Vera Juice.
Approx. 600 cals. and 50 carbs.

I snacked on a Chlorophyll enriched Water

I won't log in again on FS tonight (need my Zzzzzz) but if I do eat, it will be an organic apple, 1/4 to 1/2 cup of nuts (maybe more... nuts are my weakness, although I try to be strong), a glass of Pinot Noir, some water and/or another coco/aloe juice combo.
