Finally I lost a pound. Finally stopped this pity party I am on and getting busy. My daughter bought her wedding dress this past weekend, so another reminder of why I am in this. She looked like a princess, so I don't want to look like the elephant that showed up at the wedding. I look at her and see me 30 years ago, and it is sooooo much harder now that I am 30 years older. I will keep perservering and keep myself busy.

This is the first step to keeping a promise I made to my daughter. I promised her that I would lose 50 pounds for her wedding. Well she became engaged and the date has been set for July 26, 2008.
