Went to the y today for the first time. Ride the recumbent bike for 21 minutes and did the hand bike for 10 minutes. I can't go tomorrow, so maybe I'll go on Friday.

I joined the y yesterday. I have silver sneakers through Humana, so they pay for my membership, which is pretty cool! The y has a gym program for seniors that I'm going to take advantage of(even tho I'm only 56!). Stretching and light exercise for now, maybe some recumbent bike for warm-up. I need to add more protein.

Blood glucose was 109. I didn't exercise today, but I did some yard work. Very sore today.

Blood glucose was 78 this morning.Started some exercise today. Walked slowly on a treadmill for 5 minutes for a warm-up. I did plank, squats, push-up and step-up for just one cycle. Ended by walking on the treadmill for another 5 minutes. It was only 1 cycle, but with bulging disks in my lower back, it's a start!
