Today was a really rough day.. I have finally realized that I am an EMOTIONAL EATER!!! :(

I went to work today as I hadn't been all week. Monday, I have Grand Jury Duty and yesterday I took the day off to use some sick and vacation time up to look for another job.. I'll get to that later....

Anyway, We are a small company that works for Dell Computers. They outsource some of their calls and have for over 7 yrs. Our company has a Customer Care division, a Returns Division and a Distressed Shipping Dept. Last week we were all informed that Dell was pulling out due to sales being down and they wouldn't be re-signing the Contract. Which meant, we have no jobs effective June 22nd, 2008. Our company will not lay us off nor is Dell doing anything for us loyal reps. Prior to this we had been really slow too. So I am scheduled full time, Monday-Friday 40hrs. The past 2 months I was lucky to work 40 hours in a 2 week pay period because they were sending us home-MANDATORY!!! Without pay I might add.... So needless to say I't been quite stressful.. I travel 30 minutes one way to get to work and it's not right that after being there for 2 hours and there are no calls they start point fingers and if you get picked you gotta go.... We asked if they would allow us to callect partial unemployment or just lay us off. The answer was NO to both. I even saved and email and sent it to my home account..

So today I went in hoping that I could get atleast 8 hours in as I missed Monday and Tuesday.. I was out by 11:30am... Everyday I pack my lunch and snacks as normal. I eat an english muffin with spray butter before I left for work. Then I pulled out my apple, ate that, then my carrots, then my honey nut bar, then (can u believe this) I pulled out my fat free yogurt and fresh strawberries (that I would normally eat around 3pm)-I ATE THAT TOO... Now remember, I left work at 11:30am-got home and put my 3 point lunch in the microwave-ate that-I remember saying to myself-I need to eat something else-So I made my usual turkey sandwich with lettuce-low fat mayo and ATE that and wanted some fat free pringles... MY LORD by 1pm I had consumed over 1000 calories and only 21 points..

So guilt started to settle in and I went outside and washed and waxed my van.. Then did some yard work----It's now dinner time and I am FULL...But I am confused as I am only trying to eat when hungry but know that I am to use all of my points daily...

So I did realize because of the stress with work and life itself---I eat when things are off...

O, I am an optimistic person though, I have 3 job interviews tomorrow and I am looking forward to the challenges of a new position...
