Letting Go
Hi I’m also new here and just turned 64 too it’s not TMI to me as I’m a retired nurse I’ve an issue too with my right knee but I must say since I started doing a low carb high fat lifestyle on the advice of my GP for my raised liver enzymes I’ve lost a stone in 3 weeks and I barely notice the pain in my knee now to what it was I still have a long way to go but determined to get there after years of dailing with slimming clubs and paying out a fortune! Good luck

Hello everyone
Hi Everyone nice to be here 😊
Started a LowCarbHighFat lifestyle 3 weeks ago on the advice of my GP after my bloods showed higher liver liver enzynes ( non alcoholic fatty liver) and I’m really enjoying it and have lost a stone so far I’ve basically started by cutting out all the beige carbs and increasing my fat Found this site so I can start now tracking so that I can continue losing the weight as quite a bit to go The low fat lifestyle I was following is now I realise a no no So no more slimming clubs for me My food now tastes so much nicer and not feeling hungry is great! Thanks for listening x
