Ouch, almost a 20 pound gain since June. A few things happened while I was gone, roommates dad died after catching COVID, husband got a new job, I got a promotion basically (same company, different department), I started school again at University of the People to obtain my Bachelor's in Business Administration on scholarship (one of my first classes after having been out of school since December 2017 was Introduction to Statistics [which I did well btw but at the expense of my health apparently]), my dad and brother caught COVID (both were okay thankfully), and my new BC isn't causing emotional problems but is causing physical problems like constant spotting etc. went excessive on the celebration of my birthday, my husband's birthday, probably July 4th, and my husband and I's first anniversary. This is life and this is probably the most stress I've been under in a while, so back under control it goes. I physically aren't feeling stressed but I recognize I'm under it. the weight gain? mindless overeating of calorie dense foods. Samsung health may have gotten rid of weight management but they did bring something called Daily Activity. I'll take it, I like it. it's nice.

Believe it or not, I'm down 1.5 pounds. I got up to 180 unfortunately. I forgot to record it. it's been busy. I had to switch BC (I was on the patch). My doctor thinks that was potentially influencing my weight because it was making me extremely emotional. With that wrecking me for the past two months, our business still in the red, trying a side hustle, regular work, trying to get a raise and apply to places I can make more, house related crap (leak in the shower, installing central ac, etc) and trying to even go back to school to get a BBA - I'm down from where I was when I was on the patch (which seemed a continue climb upward).

Alright, that's enough going up. We got new batteries for the food scale. We just let them die and we've been slacking measuring our portions. We have no excuses. We have measuring cups and what not. I've been really good about exercising when I wasn't sick last week or at work. I've been doing about 15-20 minutes cardio/strength and 30 minute stretching with 10 minutes meditation when I'm remote. When I'm not remote it's about 10-20 low impact cardio and 10 minutes meditation. Overall my mental health is probably the best it has EVER been and I know I'm certainly the happiest (just not with my body), but I'm the heaviest I've ever been so let's see if I can get it to all align. Happy mentally, happy with my body, healthy, AND fiscally health. At this point? Just gotta get happy with my body.

Here we go again. this time I'm gonna focus on my mindset when it comes to working out. I keep trying new things and nothing holds. this time Im going to view it as taking medicine. Working out can naturally increase dopamine levels, improve sleep, release endorphins, increase sexual arousal, lower blood pressure, in crease overall cardiac and respiratory effeciency, lower triglycerides, and weight loss. So why would I not do it? so I'm back on the horse. was 177.4 and now 176.8 today so a nice little preliminary drop. I'm gonna keep try to keep it up. I've also added meditation to maly daily life so I'm hoping that will help me focus long term.
