gaining 10.5 lb a week

it might look like an incredible weight loss, but it really isn't. This morning I go to have a colonoscopy done and that leads to a significant one night weight loss. Since you've taken the time to read this far, I will take the opportunity to encourage you to get a colonoscopy when it is medically called for, usually when you're over 50. Colon cancer is a very treatable cancer especially if it's caught early. If polyps are found during the colonoscopy they can even be removed during the procedure. I encourage you to get a colonoscopy when you are due for one -- oh, I realize the preparation is not the most pleasant thing to deal with but it's only one day every 5 to 10 years. You are totally worth it.

Small loss. Hmm. Benn without power all week, maybe in the dark fat cells feel emboldened and won't leave. I'm sleeping with the lights on for the next few nights.
