16 February 2016
I haven't been able to check in to FS for 3 days now as life has been super busy. This weekend was one full of celebrations. Starting on Saturday when I went shopping with my family & best friends for my wedding gown and I ended up finding "the one" ... I can't even explain the happiness I felt! We ended the night by all of us going out to dinner at TGI Friday's. I actually didn't overeat in terms of amount but my meal wasn't a healthy choice. Then on Sunday I had no control of what we were doing because my fiance surprised me with a day/night out on the town. We ended the day at the North End at a very nice authentic Italian restaurant. Their food was amazing! Once again I was super proud that I did not overeat (I ate to the point where I was satisfied and boxed up the rest). I was very proud of myself this weekend for consciously making the choice to not eat so much that I felt bloated and gross. I felt comfortable and able to continue my day without that belly-popping feeling.
Unfortunately on Sunday night after dinner at the Italian place my foot fell in a pothole as I was crossing the street and I re-injured a sprained ankle from a couple of years ago and I completely busted up my right knee. So ... here I was excited to get back on track and start incorporating some sort of workouts and now I have to focus on wrapping, icing, and elevating my foot and keeping the wound on my knee clean/wrapped and trying my best not to irritate it. Yay me! It's always something lol
Anyway, I'm glad to be back here recording my food and eating healthier meals again :)

Ahhhh, I'm so close to being out of the 240s and I'm so excited for it. It's been a couple of years since I've been out of the 240s so this is big for me. I know that if I would have done better with my eating I would have been under this week. Now I just have the extra motivation to eat well all the way through next week :)
I need to start incorporating exercise again buy I have no idea when. I barely have any down time now and when I do I'm so mentally exhausted that all I want is to be left alone so I can rest. Maybe foe the time being I'll start with just Sundays since that seems to be the one day that I have more available time. one day is better than zero days, right?
Weigh-in:
240.8 lb
lost so far:

still to go:
80.8 lb
Diet followed reasonably well

My best friend and I are going to paint nite tomorrow and it happens to be at Bertucci's ... I've been staring at their menu for a while now and I can't find one damn thing that's (1) appealing and (2) healthy-ish. Everything is loaded with crazy amounts of calories - and I am not a "take half home" type of person. I figured by now they would have jumped on the "healthier menu" band wagon that almost every restaurant has. Friggin Bertucci's!

Today is day 1 of the Healthy Weight Loss 12 Week Challenge and my mom decided she would pack me lots of home cooked Puerto Rican food today and my will power just took a dive. I don't cook this type of food myself, not because I can't, but because I know it's not healthy to eat it regularly ... but when she packs me food it's like the part of my brain that says "eat in moderation" goes "PARTY TIME!". I love her, and I love her food, and I love that she thinks of me. But I hope she doesn't pack me any more food for a few weeks lol
Needless to say after tonight's dinner I HAVE to get a workout in when I get home even though I'm having a very late night at the office.
