Ok so I am back. Been on vacation for 2 weeks and have totally messed up. Did not follow my diet or exercise regimen at all--not even one day while on vacation. Luckily I only gained 1 pound of the weight back. Well, time to get back on track and get this weight off. I'm just a little mad I missed 2 weeks to lose some additional weight. Oh well-- let's hustle real hard and make up for lost time. I will be starting back at phase 1 for at least 7 days and picking back up on phase 2 to get back on track. Wish me luck cuz phase 1 is no joke!

Yesterday's meal was not my ideal healthy meal, but the good thing is I ate a very small amount. I had a small meal similar to the amount of food you would feed a child. Not nearly as much as I would have normally eaten. So I guess I may be getting a hang of this portion control thing. I wasn't supposed to eat the spaghetti or the skin of my baked chicken, but I couldn't resist. So to compensate I ate a very small amount of spaghetti(no meat) and a medium drumstick. The beans were fine so that's one thing I did manage to eat that I was supposed to. I think overall all I did okay considering.

I think I did fairly well on phase 1. Glad its over of course. The only real problem I had was eating the required number of meals. I usually ate 3 meals on most days because I was so busy, on a good day 4 maybe 5 meals. I've lost 13 lbs since beginning so I am satisfied. I know the weight loss will slow down a little since I'll be consuming more calories, but as long as I lose something I'll be happy.
My goal for phase 2 is to lose 3-5 pounds a week. Hopefully it works and I'll be down a good amount of pounds by the end of the BL challenge. Goal weight for Labor Day is 240. Its crunch time.

Day 9 on the fat smash!!! I am so happy I got through it with 9 straight days. It hasn't been easy, but I did it. Tomorrow is day 10 and I am supposed to weigh in on day 10, but my usual weigh in days are on Sundays. I guess for the sole purpose of results of phase 1 I will weigh in tomorrow and again on Sunday.
I am so pumped cuz tomorrow I will get to eat a little meat and cheese. Oh yes I will be eating a salad with chicken and cheese(recommended amt. of course) and one scrambled egg tomorrow morning. Oh but what I am going to have to face is an increase in exercise. I want to say WHY?????? but I'm going to just hit it and not look back. I can do this. Just another challenge to overcome that will eventually make me stronger and sexier!!!!
