Oh my god. My monthly is causing me all sorts of crises.
I want to eat eat eat eat eat eat eat. I try and stop myself, but the cravings get a hold of me and this time of the month is enough to throw me off for the entire month!
Chocolate, I'll just gorge on chocolate and carbs. TERRIBLE COMBO. Help me :(

I know I'm rubbish as I haven't weighed myself yet. I know I'll be disappointed because I've been building a bit of muscle and muscle weighs more than fat.
Had a lamb chop for breakfast- I feel so RAW. Yesterday, ate sugary carbs as gave blood donation & knew I'd pass out on current diet.
Don't think it's set me back too much as have lost half an inch round waist in about 2 weeks.

After a shaky weekend (which I didn't log because guilt) owing to a friend's barbecue where unfortunately, the protein and animal fats were a-lacking and the processed carbs were running high, I am now back on the protein.
Yesterday, I completed my third gym session of this year (haha!)- though I only joined last Wednesday (so actually not that bad). I've been doing a lot of weights and lifting and resistance with short bursts of 10 minute cardio in between and I already feel the little endorphins (or endolphins as my mum used to call them) swimming around in my body making me feel all good.
It's coming up to That Time Of The Month, and usually, I require 2000mg of Evening Primrose Oil to make me not actually kill everyone around me, but already, my gym sessions have helped me. I suppose the seratonin and dopamine is doing this for me (for that I'm hugely grateful). During this time, I absolutely want to eat everything (PMS symptom), and I am just craving doritos, pringles, cake, chocolate. Everything that will keep me flabby. I have to fight these cravings, because I know that as soon as I do it JUST ONCE, I will have the will power to do it again and again.
I've noticed that on my full protein diet, my skin, hair and nails are so much healthier and glowing with radiance. Then just those two days of eating rubbish was enough for spots to break out! Just goes to show!

I've been following an all meat and animal-product diet. I started out with the Harcombe diet but have little to no tolerance for green salads, and the more colourful the veg (the nice ones) the more carbs so they're not 'free vegetables'
So for the past three days, I've eaten JUST protein and fat (some carbs occur naturally in cottage cheese, eggs and liver) and I feel absolutely invincible & amazing already!
My craving for sugar has gone- if you put cake in front of me, I can leave it without my mouth salivating, my gym sessions last longer and I feel like (and this will sound weird) that the energy I'm putting in to exercise is "true" and not falsified by carbs. Also, when I get hungry, it feels like real hunger & it's a different feeling to carb hunger.
Not sure if I've lost anything scale-wise, but I tend to think that scales are a little wooly. I'm measuring this diet on how I actually feel inside & how I look. My skin is clearer, my hair is shinier & I'm so much more alert.
Has anyone else done this, what were your results?
