I have not been reporting to this group since last summer. I was grieving and eating the wrong foods and eating out most of the time. I reached 213 pounds and my cardiologist said to lose weight or have a stroke or heart attack. My daughter is an independent associate with BeneYOU which sells beauty products (Jamberry) Hydration Stiks (M Global) and Gut Health (Avisae) products.
My daughter wanted to lose weight too so for Christmas I gave her a membership to a fitness club. I can go for free as a guest. That was a lifesaver for both of us. Today I weighed in at 182 pounds. We started out on a 1200 calorie counting day and portion control. We can visually measure our food now and we have eliminated some foods from our diet. We both eat healthy now. We start our day with a fruit smoothie with spinach and a fiber called Repair from her business. It is huge and we both feel better since starting that. Our gut is definitely cleaned out and feeling much better. There are other products we use during the day too for our gut. All water during the day has tasty nutritional hydration Stiks in it and we both love it. We carry our water bottle wherever we go now. you will run for the bathroom a lot but you are definitely hydrated and feel much better. We drink a minimum of 8 glasses of water a day.
Last August we went to Disney World and i had to use a wheelchair because i could not keep up with the family walking and could not go up the inclines without losing my breath. No more!!! I have been using the bike and treadmill at the fitness center and I plan to walk a 5K walk/run on June st. I am so excited about this and have tested it in a walk from my house.
I will try to keep more up to date in this group much better. I have lost inches too and look much better. I even bought some new summer clothes!!! Have a great day everyone!

I am grieving the loss of my husband on 2-1-2018. My weight went back up to 208 lbs. at that time. We eat out a lot due to loss of desire to cook. I am in a depression and don't do much. I need to try to get outside and walk at least around the block every day. Some days I don't even get dressed. I have been on meds for depression but this kind of depression is different. I was 194 yesterday but 198 today. I have become attracted to sweets again and this is my challenge to lose weight. I will get back to 190 again soon. My mood swings are just so big right now. I can be good one moment and soon have bad moments again. My Facebook has kept me sane. I don't wish this type of grief on anyone.
