Ate well all week up to Saturday! DS's bday party was that day, and I already planned to have a small piece of cake with him. The cake was not the problem. The 3-day binge that started on Sunday was. I figured my weight was going up this week, so I wasn't surprised. I was pleasantly surprised that it only went up 1.2lbs. I'm back on my low-carbs as of today, filling up on protein & veggies. Hope I can get under 150 finally by the end of the month. Not following Atkins per se, but still eating much lower carb than I'm used to. Not going to always prohibit mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, pasta, but going to eat much smaller portions, less often, and try to fill up on salad beforehand. Am going to restrict, however, the obvious sources of big carbs to no more than once a day, maybe twice a week. I wasn't gaining weight with the way I was eating before, just hovering, so I'm confident I will still be able to lose this way. Albeit a bit slower than severe low-carb. But I'm ok with that as long as the tape goes down. That mostly didn't change this week, except for 1 or 2 places, very little. I hadn't worked out as much last week with my bday Thurs & getting ready for the party Fri & Sat, then Sun cleaning the house. I worked out last Weds, and then not again till Mon. But I did some "Core Rythms" this am, and I'm getting "Just Dance 3" for the kinect this week/weekend. Trading in my "EA Active 2" at GameStop for it. I don't care for that game at all. I'd rather dance!! :) :)

Was hoping that all the water I drank yesterday would help move the scale this am, since I drank very little Tues. It didn't. But, that might have had something to do with the sugar free twizzlers. I just realized that my weight stalled/started to slowly increase after I bought them. I've been nibbling on them since Sun. Thankfully they come in a small pack, and now they're gone. Not going to buy them again either. I realized I have a problem stopping with just 1 of fruity flavored candies. The 11g NET carbs per serving probably didn't help either. The russel stover chocolates have been in my pantry for over a week though, still about 1/2 a bag left. There's also a bag of sugar-free Reese's. That haven't even been opened. :) Oh well, live & learn right? I should have known better, I have a hard time stopping with all fruity candy. Always have. Chocolate not so much, I can eat just one. I have 1 week till my bday, and I really wanted to be at 145 by then. Not sure that's going to happen, but hopefully I'll at least be under 150. I know I've made some mistakes recently, but I admitted them to myself & I'm correcting them. I've been busting my butt with the 30 day shred, and I feel stronger. My measurements still went down yesterday, but the scale went up. I guess that just means I'm not losing lean muscle. I'm gaining it. After 3 weeks low-carbing, I noticed that I no longer miss mashed potatoes, or mac & cheese! Two of my "comfort foods" that I would pig out on. I'm taking that as an improvement. I've still lost 4lbs in 3wks, which is over a lb a week! Tried on some pants from the back of the closet yesterday (that I've never worn, still have tags!) and they just about fit perfectly with no pudge over the top! I could wear them if I wanted, but I'm going to wait till next week & see how they fit then. Probably wear them for my son's bday party next Saturday. Just need to take in the thighs, they're a bit baggy. But they were I brought them home.
