Hello Everyone,
I haven't been on the here in a while but thank the Lord things are going well. I have cleaned up my eating habits quite a bit. I am getting most of my carbs from vegetables and oatmeal throughout the week. I have found the best supplement shake called "Full Strength." Go to fullstrength.com to check it out. It's fantastic. I have been eating salmon, almonds, unsalted peanuts, throughout the day to keep me full. I haven't changed my workout regimen to much. Just making little adjustments, like not eating all my food if I go out to dinner, using a smaller plate at home. I still have work to do but I am confident that if I stick to the script I will make it. Continue to press toward the Mark!!!

Hello everyone,
Just got down with a great cardio workout at the gym. Did about 90 minutes today. Thank the Lord I wore some pants yesterday to worship service that actually fit me better than they have in quite some time. I am going to have my free day tomorrow God willing, but I am not going to over do it. I am going to weigh myself and measure my waist to see where I am at. I am hoping that will give me some motivation to stay strong and to enjoy, but not over do it. I also plan on getting a good workout done in the morning tomorrow. I am trying everyday to read or watch something regarding weight loss. I find myself more motivated when I see what others are doing, and how they are achieving their goals.
I know that I can achieve my goals and be successful at this. My current goal is to be a 199lbs by February 21st. This will give me time to go out and to get some new clothes for a business meeting that I have coming up in March. I have also set mini goals for myself to achieve.
Take care and Happy Holidays.

Today is the third day for me on the Fruit Flush. Overall it has been going farely well. I did have a couple pieces of chocolate last night, but with the cardio I have been doing and the amount of fruit that I have been eately, thank the Lord I still dropped 1.3lbs yesterday. That's a total of five pounds in a couple of days. I have come to realize that bread and dairy are two food groups that I just need to shy away from. I will eat some of them on occasion, but for the most part they are not assisting me to much. With supplements and veggies like spinach and brocculi I know that I can get my calcium in other places. After today I will cut down on the amount of fruit and increase my veggies even more. I will also increase my protein consumption.
Today is also day 16 with no caffeine at all (pop or coffee). Thank the Lord I have beat the last amount of time a couple months ago when I attempted to get off caffeine. Take care and don't forget that just because YOU HAVE A HOLIDAY GIVES YOU PERMISSION FOR A DAY OFF!!!

I started a fruit flush for the next three days. This was designed by a guy name Jay Robb. He has excellent protein products. The products are really clean and without the artificial additives that you find so much in virtually all supplement products. The first day includes having a protein shake (6 ounces) every two hours throughout the day. My dinner consisted of 3-6 cups of vegetables with some type of protein. I choose to have some turkey with that. I also did some cardio yesterday, and I drank over a gallon of water. I felt great yesterday throughout the day, even after driving for 4 hours. It's a three day flush, so I will try to knock out the next 48 hours here. I dropped about three pounds yesterday, which is great.
Today is day 15 with no caffeine at all. I feel like I have so much more energy now compared to when I was drinking coffee and pop. I knew that I was going to crash every couple of hours and right now that is not happening to me. I picked up a book which is a must read called THE TRUTH ABOUT CAFFEINE. IT IS A MUST READ.

I haven't been on this site in quite some time. I just got done watching the biggest loser finale. It was extremely motivating. I feel like I have been getting on track, but after coming back on this site and seeing the my last weigh in was 64 days ago and that my weight has increased, showed me that I am not where I need to be. That is going to change beginning right now. I will be meeting with a dietician here in a couple of days to get some things planned.
I know I can get back to my college weight. If the mind can conceive it, and the heart can believe it, then I can achieve it.
