I have been forever single and forever fat...sometimes less fat, sometimes more fat. I am now embarking on the journey to become LESS fat. Over the 5 years I have lost 100#. It was 104 until shortly after I got COVID. Gained about 20# because the part of my brain that said I was full must have fallen asleep. Thankfully it has reawakened. Over the last few weeks I have lost 10 of those pounds.
My passions:
1) First and foremost is my faith in God
2) The love God gave me for animals~~my fur babies--currently 2 dogs (a husky mix-Spirit and
a goofy Labradoodle-Micah)
3) Creating new healthy recipes. Yes, there have been some epic failures.
4) Woodworking, i.e. building stuff

Newbie needs help
Is there a certain area that can be a guide for me through the site? I remember seeing a page where I could choose eating plan I want to follow.
Also I answered a question in the forum regarding intermittent fasting. It was rather extensive but I don't see it showing up on her question as being answered.
BTW--this site is INCREDIBLE!!!!!

Intermittent Fasting
I do and it has really helped with my "hunger". I am definitely a NIGHT eater. I usually make sure I don't have much of anything after 10:00 p.m. Then I basically fast until 3 or 4 in the afternoon. They suggest you should limit your food intake to four hours a day. That doesn't work for me!! When I get hungry in the afternoon I usually have a container of Greek yogurt (more protein!) and 1-2 servings of fruit. Right now I'm addicted to blackberries and strawberries. Of course I always share with my fur babies. Then along about 7:30-8:00 I have my dinner......a protein (usually fish) and at least two different veggies along with a side salad. Then b4 I go to bed I'll have another bit of fruit.
