Christmas is a challenge.
This week I overdid it in the gym and my knees hurt. I did not go two times for exercise as it hurt too much and I could hardly walk.
Was offered snacks and sweets and did not always resist.
Am slowing down and make sure I chew well instead of gobbling.

I guess I overdid in the gym today. My knees hurt.

My knees gave in.
I did not want to go to a doctor as I know he would say that being morbidly obese was the cause!
Checked with Dr. Google,as per symptoms rhumatoid arthritis; there were three options:
1. Knee joint replacement
2. Cortison medication
3. Change of diet: No or occasional meat, no dairy products, no animal fat, no white flour, occasional sweets,no coffee(1),
I chose option 3 about a month ago.
Am cooking vegetarian food. But could not give up coffee.
Had no pain in the knees after TWO days. At the end of one week I had a big brunch with everything and the pain was back at night!Reverted to the change in eating habits and the pain went again.
Had meat and sweets last night and am fine today.
And I go to the gym three times a week for one hour.
I had given up and was not able to change my eating habits but no pain and being more mobile is worth it.
The weight loss is a very pleasant and motivating bonus!
Shall now record progress in fatsecret.
