Green smoothie for breakfast, soup and salad for lunch, greek yogurt with berries, agave, and granola for a snack and a little soup for dinner tonight. Tired tonight. I really don't want to exercise and 4:30 comes quick but I managed to exercise on my rebounder for about 15min. Doesn't sound like much but I'm actually sweating and don't usually sweat much when I exercise except on my bicycle. Legs are feeling it . . . Glad about that. Went through the motions like I was using weights but didn't use them. Maybe tomorrow I will use them. Well, hope everyone had a successful 1st day.

Tomorrow I start the "Getting fit for the Holidays" challenge. I am looking forward to it! We are coming into the time of year that I love to eat casseroles, stews and soups. This will be good to help me keep the weight off that I have lost and hopefully my labs will continue to improve. I need to tone up. Hopefully this will be just the thing I need to get me on started on the right track. Thankfully, I have been very active for the past 6 months or so. Not so much structured or targeted exercise, but I've been doing a lot of fun, active things. Getting back to using my equipment is probably what I need to firm up though. Exercise 3 to 5 days a week? That would be good for me and when the trails are opened back up I will hike again and use my trekking poles. That always gives my arms, pects, and lats a nice workout. Hmmm, leaves should be changing color soon too. I can hardly wait to get out and enjoy the beauty of Autumn.

I just realized that I have not been on here since at least May. Where has the time gone? Well, it has been a crazy, fun filled, whirlwind of a summer and I have been maintaining my weight between 129 and 132. I Started riding my bicycle this past spring and am loving it! I only wish I had someone to ride with :-( But, someday I will find someone to ride with me. My diet has been hit and miss but I feel like I am getting back on track. Although my weight has been good, it is important to me that my labs also be good and I only find that out twice a year. Next labs due to be done in Nov, then I meet with the Doc and we'll see.

I liked it better when the weight was just falling off, didn't like the jittery feeling I was starting to feel, I was feeling like my old self up to that point :-( I must have had a really fast metabolism in my earlier days. Oh, well. Reminder to self: Weight loss was never the original intention.
Being peri menopausal and then becoming Hypothyroid, I have been battling with my weight for nearly 10 years now. I finally decided to make improving my labwork my goal. It just so happened that as I worked to improve my lab work I also finally dropped a bunch of pounds. For that I am extremely happy!! Lab work is improving also. I will just keep doing refining what I have been doing and, as far as my weight goes, I am very curious to see where I will end up. I used to be 125-127 before my body started changing, but I really think that is too low for me now. I'm pretty happy with where I'm at, was feeling fabulous at 128 (till the jitters came). Oh, well!!
