I am a mother of two wonderful children whose weight has been on a roller coaster for years. I was fine through high school and college, but then began to put on weight, but was still under 200 lbs. After having my daugher in 1999 I was about 210 lbs and I knew I really needed to drop some weight and started to follow a high protein/low carb diet with some exercise (and only a few cheats here and there) and dropped 60 lbs in about 6 months. I felt good and looked good too. After a couple of years the weight started to creep back up after a move to another state, a change in jobs, etc until I was up to 227 lbs. I joined a local gym and participated in a Biggest Loser program - dropped 48 lbs in 12 weeks! Again I felt good and looked good, but knew I still needed to drop more. Eight months later I find out that I'm pregnant again. This time it ends up being high risk, I can't go to the gym anymore, I get stressed and depressed, and gain, gain, gain. After having my son in 2008 (healthy, beautiful baby), I continued to gain. I had no energy and ate whatever was convenient. In April 2012 I decided enough was enough (enough being 287 lbs!). Here we go...wish me luck!
