I am currently 208 pounds. I cannot seem to get under that mark. I don't eat anything with sugar. At first it was a very difficult thing to do, but now I have lost the craving for sweets. I don't eat many carbs either and for the past month I have stayed on a strict 2000 calories, or less daily diet. Having said that, I still can't seem to lose weight. I was injured a year ago and have not been able to exercise much. When I did exercise I walked 4 to 5 miles per day and worked out about 3 times a week. I am fully recovered now and I am looking forward to getting back to my previous physical activity.
