Doing pretty well. The biggest thing is getting in my exercise, especially since I've been having problems with my knee. I'm probably going to go for a run this afternoon, if my knee is feeling alright. if not, I'll play wii or something. Gonna make this happen! I'm actually adjusting pretty well to my new eating lifestyle. It's pretty weird 'cause usually it's the opposite: I'm really good at getting my exercise in, but not at eating right. Our family started the no processed sugar challenge today. Eight weeks of no sugar; eight weeks of no ice cream :/
BUT I CAN DO THIS!!!

I have yet to weigh myself. I will be doing that every Tuesday.
That's all for now. I'll write later and let you know how I did on my exercise...


-Today's goals-

.EAT NO PROCESSED SUGAR!!! this will be my life for the next eight weeks.
.Eat more protein than carbs. I've made great progress in limiting my fat intake, but my carb intake is still a bit too high. Hopefully the no sugar thing will help with that.
.Monitor your salt intake better. I want these fat fingers to go away!!
.Get in an hour of exercise.

1,193 calories...that is the number consumed today. Yes, very low. Lower than even my goal of 1350 calories, but that's alright. I wasn't too active today, so it balances its self out. I just can't believe it...1,193 calories!!! I haven't eaten that little and felt so good and full since I had my jaw surgery. I can feel my stomach shrinking all ready, and I'm pretty darn excited. I no longer want to eat when there's nothing else to do. I want food to only be sustenance to me, nothing more, just something that helps me sustain life. I had pizza for dinner; only two slices :) and I'm about to go and get a slice of 'Smores Dessert pizza...YUM!! Even with this indulgence at the end of the day, I am still 157 calories under my goal. If my little tracker thing is correct, I've burned 2500 calories in the past three days...meaning only one thousand more before I lose my first pound. Let me just say YAY!!! I will be weighing in on Sunday...ooh!! I have not weighed myself since before the holidays, so I'm pretty frightened, but I didn't overeat over the holidays. Maybe I'll be alright...???
Anyway, until tomorrow...BYE!!

-Tomorrow's Goal-
. Still work on eating more protein
. Did a better job on cutting fat out of my diet today. Good job, self!! Continue working on eating mainly protein and complexs carbs.
. Stay away from the Sodium!! This is why you have fat fingers, little missy! Try to stay close to the lower end of the spectrum, consuming only 1500 milligrams a day.
. Stay away from processed crap!
. Continue drink unsweetened green tea, even though it tastes like crap!!

Day Three...WOOHOO!!! Yesterday, I went a little over my calories 'cause I indulged and had some ice cream for desert. I'm not feeling guilty about it though. 200 calories on some ice cream is not going to put me down or make me give up. I did not go running this morning...GRRR! My alarm did not go off :/ Hopefully tomorrow morning it will though, and I will make myself get up and run. I will face the Arctic Tundra that is North Carolina in January...I can do this!! Anyway, today has been a pretty good day diet wise. I had greek yogurt for breakfast...I really love that stuff! I'm trying to start drinking unsweetened green tea at every meal. It's been proven to help with weight loss...??? anyway, right now, I can hardly drink my 16oz of it; it repulses me!! I will get used to it though. I've also been doing really well with when I'm hungry drinking water or chewing on some gum instead. It really helps...a lot!! It's almost time for lunch. I am going to be eating a spinach salad and an apple...yum!! Healthy complex carbs!! Right now, today's diet consists of only carbs and protein, which is good 'cause I eat way too much fat. I'm really trying hard to bump up my protein and to eat more complex carbs. Hopefully I'll be able to do that! I might actually eat eggs instead of salad today. hm... I guess I'll decide when I walk in the kitchen. I really love egg whites. They're scrumptious, and I love to make omelets with all kinds of veggies in them! Well, I'm gonna go. I have homework to do and work later.

.eat more protein
.stay away from saturated fat
.do some sort of exercise for thirty minutes
