I only lost 1.5 pounds this week.
At first i was really bummed but my husband assured me that I did great I stuck to the diet and did not gain weight. He reminded me tat I'm on a journy not a weekend jont. I wiil be proud of myself and continue on.
I believe I am going to buy a scale just so next week I'm not thinking that it is the WII. That was my first thought after I weighed in that the WII was messed up.
I have found that excuses have worked well for me for 49 years. Excuses have allowed me to not just look fat but be fat.I fondly think of my teen age years when I could not gain weight and in my mind think that those days are coming again. Right snap out of it your teenage years are about as far off as the moon. I am trying to stand on solid ground and admit to myself that i an truely fat. Now I can celebrate that I have lost 7.5 pound in two weeks. this site helps alot thanks.

Just realize I should lay out my diet so if others want to try it, they can.
As I stated before I read and article about cheerios and gave it a try.
stay within 1500 calories a day, eat at least 4 meals a day. Two of those meals need to be 1 1/2 cup cheerios with 3/4 cup fat free milk. Fruit may be added as long as you stay within 1500 calories a day. the cheerios count towards the 1500. Green vegatables are free eat as many as your little heart desires.
In the first week I lost 6 pounds. I accidently did a weigh in today but that is not the truth my weigh day is tommorrow. my cloths are fitting better and I have more energy. If you try this good luck! the best part is that I am not Hungery.

Ok still sticking to my diet and feeling great. My true test begins today. My husband is coming home. Yeah!!!
Red is not at fault for my wieght he is my excuse. He will be totally supportive, but he is 6'4" tall and needs more than the 1500 calories a day that I am sticking with.
Red believes that pie is for breakfast, so I have gotten good at making pies. I love to cook for him, he really likes the foods I cook and tells me what a wonderful job I do.
I know its all up to me to balance family meals that work for both of us. I will do this because he is the 2nd most important person I am trying to get fit for. Red is wonderful and I know he will back me 100% because he adores my number 1 person I'm doing this for and that is me.
