Morning everyone. I did my HIIT today and I'm pleased that my strength is definitely improving although my endurance still needs work. I found most of the reason I have to rest is because my shoulder hurt. Hopefully if I keep working on them they'll be fine.
I've started a success binder where I write everything down that I've well in a day and what I can do to improve. Also write down my goals and what I need to do during this day to get there. It really works and I would recommend it to everyone. Physically writing is down seems to help so much.
Feeling good in myself now which is great. Can't wait to see my boyfriend later feeling this good :) yay!
Pizza express tonight, going to get one of those pizzas with the hole cut out and replaced with salad, feel like that's the best option without going full blown salad.

Hey guys! I'm down!! Woo! Even better considering my muscles will have held on to some fluid considering they're so sore from yesterday. Also I weighed about 3 hours earlier than normal as I had to get up at 5:00am for my competition today. Speaking of which, that was an eventful day... The horses we got were ridiculously poorly school. Usually in a dressage competition you would get eliminated if your horse steps out of the markers, today he said he was going to ignore it because none of the horses are balanced enough to stay inside them. This was very true, only one horse stayed in and some of them bolted out of the arena! The jumping, one horse chucked a girls and scared the life out of everyone who had to ride it. Despite this, I came individual 5th but the team came 4th out of 4 because one of our girls got eliminated! We worked out that we could have come 2nd if she hadn't... oh well.
HIIT tomorrow so that should work off the celebratory McDonalds that we had... I did only have a Mc Chicken burger on it's own... 385 calories so could have been worse. No deviations from my lent which is great!
Feeling pleased. Looking forward to tomorrow as my boyfriend is coming to visit and we're going to watch Jack Whitehall. Everybody give me strength not to eat poorly just because he is around!

Hi guys,
Today I hopped on the scales and saw a loss which is nice but I'm not due to record until tomorrow so fingers crossed I'm still under 140lbs :) In the learning commons again today doing dissertation work which is good but I'm feeling slightly annoyed that I still don't have feedback for my first draft dissertation so I can't really do much except more research. The shear number of references in this piece of work is going to be staggering. Also had a feedback session on my best exam which I was so pleased with and they say that my essay was great which made me feel awesome.
Back onto weight and such. I'm going to strength and conditioning later which I'm excited about! Although they've started making me lift a lot more but at least I won't look like such a pansy in comparison to everyone else on my team (who have in fairness been doing it a lot longer than I have).
I've got another riding competition tomorrow so I'll probably post what happens after.

Hi guys,
I wouldn't usually post twice in one day but I'm so pumped about how well today went.
I got up early and went for a run which in fairness wasn't particularly high intensity but sometimes slow cardio does some good. I had a protein shake after for breakfast and had an orange and carrot sticks with hummus for lunch.
At the learning commons with my course mates (from 9:30 - 6:00 so proud) they brought brownies, haribo, crisps and my friend zac bought 2 sandwiches and didn't really eat either of them and offered them around. I am proud to say that I stuck to my lent and didn't eat any of it!! We did however have a Chinese takeaway for tea (Sunday is our house meal day which, to my displeasure, everyone else to was too lazy to cook for this week) But I have vegetable noodles and only had a small box then only ate until I felt nearly full! Another win to tick off.
Finally, it's my other course mate's birthday today so I made her a cake this evening to take into uni tomorrow. Usually I would be licking things off my fingers, the spoon and out of the bowl even. Today as soon as anything was dirty, even my fingers, they went straight under the tap to prevent temptation. Then when getting the cake out the tin a little portion got stuck to the bottom, usually what I can f**k up treat, but not this time, I got it off with a spatula, put a bit of jam on it and stuck it back on the bottom then put the cake away for the morning.
I am so pleased with myself today I can't get over. It shows that I do actually have will power. I just have to remember that I do :)
