I said I wasn't gonna weigh but once a week...I couldn't stand it, -6 this morning...yeeehawwww!
I know that it probably is water weight, but it still is a deficit. Thinking positive.
Trying to decide how to do the next few days, am I going to continue on the diet as recommended 3 days on 4 days off eating responsibly or keep the restrictions on. I have not felt deprived any this week, not craved anything either.
The portion control is what I like about this...and holding myself accountable.

Day 2 Did not weigh today, think I will do that on a weekly basis to keep down possible discouraging numbers if I do not see a deficit. As I mentioned yesterday am on blood pressure medications, one being a fluid pill, water weight gain is a problem for me, but I also know that 285 it can't all be water.
How do you tell the difference between hunger and just wanting something to eat? Right now I am pretty sure it is hunger; it is almost lunch time and my boiled egg and toast, etc. is about gone.
Well its time to go to the house, off work, need to walk the Loo...she will appreciate it I am sure, not so sure I will withe the cold temperatures we are having and the wind, just checked 25 degrees 11 with wind chill. Short walk tonight.

Well today is the day...I have set my mind that I am going to do it and do it right. I have the same mental mindset that I had when I quit smoking almost 5 years ago and I know that this can work and now is the time.
Why am I doing it? 285 I can remember a day a long time ago telling my mom that if I ever got that big to just shoot me. Well here I am and if mom were still alive (and mad at me)she might have taken me up on that one. Seriously my health is the main reason, if I were to loose some of this excess baggage my high blood pressure could be gone, my knees and hips might not hurt quite so bad when I walk and of course there is Loo Loo (90 lb. American Bulldog)who could lose a few pounds too,she needs someone that can keep up with her youthful exuberance. I am not getting any younger and need to be able to take care of myself as I get older, do not want to become dependent on anyone to do it for me.
So this is it, my first day is going good...so far.
I do notice and even here in the office people complaining about drinking water, I just do not understand I love water I do prefer filtered or bottled which we have both here.
Gotta get back to work...
