Old School Weight Watchers
The only time I ever lost significant and consistent weight loss in the past has been old school Weight Watchers which counted exchanges much like a Diabetic exchange program or LA Weight Loss.
I believe that anything done consistently is probably key so I that and making sure calories are around 1500 is my plan.
I welcome any connections here much like Sparkpeople, if anyone remembers that website.

Making the Effort
I have been hanging out here for a while and my weight history is practically a straight line. And it's time for that to change.
I am a 60-year-old female from Canada who for the most part has been overweight all their life. Being tall I carried it well, or so I thought but now age + weight + arthritis from years of carrying the weight has taken its' toll on my joints.
I have an appointment with the Hip/Knee clinic but given the Canadian healthcare system that might by Xmas 2023 if I am lucky. I am not convinced surgery is the answer but either way I need to lose a 100 pounds to either get better or even be considered for surgery.
