I have not been feeling well and I know why. I have reintroduced sugar to my diet. So, not only do I not feel well, but my clothes are tight and my skin is not as clear. The good news is, I know what I have to do and I know that I can do it. A "vacation" from eating right is no vacation at all. The first few days are a re-adjusting period for me - but then I am ok. So, here I go again!

Ok, I have to face the music. I have taken a long vacation from eating well. WOW. I have really made a mess of things. I got on the scale this morning to face it finally. A twenty lb. gain from all the progress I had made. Ugh!I am going to try to keep a positive outlook. I know what I have to do and I have to do it. I am telling myself it is a set back and not a reason to give up and go back to bad eating. I can do this! Who's with me?

Ok, I have paid the price. A little compromise here...one there...and voila! the consequences of holiday eating. Well, I am not going to beat myself up. I weighed in this morning and am ready to face the music. I am re-committed, setting new goals, and getting right back on the horse. I am sure I am not alone in this discovery. The good news: I enjoyed the holidays and am ready to start the new year with a new set of goals for my weight and health. Wishing all the same!
