2 pounds in one week YEAH!!!!! Looks like I may get to my goal by my birthday after all. Been off red meat and pork for about 6 weeks now and do not miss it at all. Drinking alot more water also.

Well I lost 1 full pound when I weighed in at my tops meeting this morning and I was quite surprised wasn't expecting more than 1/2 pound. I weigh in Friday for this challenge so I should lose at least one more pound by then. Only 2 more pounds and I will break the 130 mark YEAH ME!!!!! Finally got enough money together to take my pup to the vet so that is a heavy burden off my mind. Don't think there is too much wrong with her except for her ears are red inside wit little bumps on them do want it to get worse so am going to bite the bullet and pay their outrageous fees.
No one has joined my group yet. Come on seniors, we may be getting up there in age but we still need to keep ourselves healthy and fit.
Will write again after I weigh in on Friday. Happy dieting to all.

Stressful last 2 days. Trying to come up with the money to take my pup to the vet. It, like everything else is so expensive these days. I gave in and had a snack before I went to bed last night. Not extremely fattening but enough that I knew when I finished it I should not have done it.It was like midnight and no way to work it off. I go to my TOPS (take off pounds sensibly) in the morning so we will see what the scales says for Tuesday then I record for this site on Friday.

It's 10 pm here in AZ and I am home for the night. So this will be tough I love snacking at night and will try not to tonight I usually spend my nights at my boyfriends (he lives next door) but my new puppy got her baby shots today and I felt like I should be with her so here I am on the computer and going to go and crochet an order I have pending. Will let you know if I snacked tomorrow.

I am 65 and have battled with my weight my whole adult life. My highest has been 160 and my lowest 108 I would like to be at 118 by my birthday the end of August.I have a bad hip so I can not walk like I used to. I can walk my puppy and maybe walk around the mall and grocery store for about 30 minutes and that is it.No other health problems except for headaches from stress. I have been doing meatless diet for about 2 weeks now and I really like it. No red meat no pork just chicken and fish veggies and fruit but my downfall is night eating and that is when the cereal bowl comes out. My pup drinks whole milk so it is in the fridge all the time and it tastes sooooo good on cereal. My boyfriend of 28 years is so healthy and he will be 84 in Nov. I bake professionly from Oct to Feb and sell online so I really have to be careful at that time of year. Need lots of encouragment. My whole family is or was diabetic so I really have to watch my sugar. Thanks in advance for all your ideas and friendship.
