I'm happy with this number, not because it's still so high, but because it's lower than the last entry. lol I've been pretty sick lately so I pray that I can keep some of the good habits have started because of not being able to eat much, such as no snack before bed. Making sure I at least have 2 meals and 2 snacks. I have to keep my glucose down. Have to see my cardiologist next week to go over the results of the ER visit i had last week. Still having problems with my blood pressure though. Stomach is feeling somewhat better though. At least I don't feel nauseous all the time.

I feel horrible having to put that weight on here. I've got the boot off my left ankle and i can walk on it, but it still hurts pretty bad. The swelling is horrible. I can't exercise normally right now cause Dr. said I can't put any strain on it yet. I go back in a month and see where I'm at then. I'm praying this is the end of surgeries and hospitals for a while. I want to get back to my normal, which isn't normal for a lot of people, lol. I did good going to the store today and not buying any candy or sweets. I need to stay out of stores period, it would save me money and pounds. Unfortunately my boyfriend has been wanting to eat out lately and I haven't had the willpower to say no. That's stopping now though, after getting on the scales and seeing where i'm at.

I still haven't started the food journal, but i'm going to start Monday. I'm putting a memo on my phone, with alarm to remind me to do it. I've gotten back on Calorie counter also. I have some before pics, but i have to find them first. About 8 months ago i had lost 50 pounds and then i don't know what happened but i gained 40 of it back. I've had a couple surgeries that have sidelined me when it comes to any type of exercise. I bought a recumbent exerciser to use, when i get healed from the tendon surgery i had on my ankle a month ago. I've read a lot of inspiring stories this morning, even on the Calorie counter page, got from DebN, was already a member and didn't realize it until it said my email address was already in it, lol I go back to the Dr. in 2 weeks and hopefully i will get to lose the boot on my left foot and leg. I still can't move my ankle from side to side, only up and down. My knee replacement on the right knee isn't helping me any with walking. I had it done last March on St. Patrick's day. It's doing ok according to my Dr. but boy does it still hurt sometimes. I finally have a new Pain Dr. that's closer to where i live and i can go see him once a month to get my pain med. When the pain is under control, it's a lot easier for me to do things, but then it never fails i overdo it and wind up in more pain then when i started. I'm a very stubborn and do it myself person. I've had a really hard time delegating my jobs at home to other people. I'm disabled and have been since 2005. Hope everyone has a great week coming and good luck to you all.

I really need to start a food diary to know what i'm doing good about eating and what i'm leaving out. My lab work that i had done at the end of the year showed that there are still a few things that are not doing good, such as cholesterol, potassium, Vitamin D, and magnesium. I've been off the Magnesium for a while now so i have to start it back up, my vit. D is still low and that's with me taking a prescription supplement, potassium is now on the low side of good, but thats with me taking 6 capsules a day. My cholesterol is up, especially the bad one, so i have to start taking the fish oil supplements again and watch better about what i eat. I have a new pain Dr, and he's really going to work with me in trying to keep my pain at a minimum, without doing the shots in my back that makes me have to stop taking my blood thinner. He says thats asking for me to have another stroke. I love being able to write in here and not be judged for the mistakes i make in my diet or the wrong foods i eat. I've seen so many posts or journal entries where people have made it from the 200's to the 100's, and i want to be there so bad. I feel sometimes like my own body is out to get me, lol I do alot of praying about it and i really hope something good starts working again and i start losing better then i am now.

Not being able to weigh myself is taking its toll on me. I'm praying that i've been able to lose a couple pounds since my surgery, but i'm not setting myself up for defeat during this recovery period. I know with having this big ole boot on my foot and not being able to put much weight on my foot. I go to the Dr. Monday and hopefully things are going as well as he said, cause then i can at least sleep without the boot on. I'm still having so much pain. Had my first trip in a vehicle today, since the one coming home from surgery. Got to go to Walmart and do a little shopping. It was a little harder then i thought it would be, but i still enjoyed getting out of the house. Can't wait until things get back to almost normal for me, lol
