This was my last week to gain weight and I feel like I could've done better. I could've gained more weight but I think that my proportions regarding my exercise and eating habits were off target and inaccurate. It was hard because I had to resort to eating fast food at least once a week due to away games in baseball. I know that the biggest challenge was gaining weight after my second week, because I was really ill and lost a significant amount of weight. Plus, with baseball and running three hours a day make burning more calories than I eat a very normal event. I should have eaten more proteins and vegetables that are not only healthy, but lean and full of vitamins. I know that if I had eaten more and would have matched my calories burned per day, I would have been closer to my goal. I believe this program helped me though. It helped me realize that I do need to eat more and healthier in life.

This past week I tried to eat alot of protein. However, with playing baseball, I burned alot of calories and due to away games, I had to eat something quick, so I wasn't able to eat exactly what I desired. I posted that i put conditioning as my exercise because baseball is not an option, but baseball practice is mostly just conditioning. My goals for this next week is to actually stay away from fast food and to actually prepare my own meals from scratch. Also, i would like to gain a few more pounds of muscle, so i hope doing more exercises other than those in baseball will help. I may drink protein drinks just to help myself gain protein. I also want to stay away from sugar, so my breakfasts will hopefully include hearty meals, rather than sugar coated foods. This last week to me would be considered a success however.

I have not been able to achieve my goals for the past week and a half because I have been extremely sick. I was diagnosed with a fever, fever sores on my lip and inside my mouth, and throat problems, making it hard for me to eat. I was not able to eat the food that I wanted, that is why I have lost a tremendous amount of weight. I am planning on gaining this weight back of course because I have become better and will plan on continuing my diet the way it was before I became sick. I have been exercising through baseball, so it is mostly just running alot, short distance and long distance. In the future, i hope to continue my good exercising habits, but maybe eat more meat and potatoes, that way I can gain my protein and weight back quicker than I had lost it. I will not stop until I achieve my goal with this program and I hope that I do not become ill in the future, because it would be another devastating blow to my goals.
