I read Eat to Live this week and was impressed with the science and the approach. I ate fruits and veggies yesterday, and my BG was much better this morning, and didn't spike the way it usually does in the am.
BTW, I sent to a new doc 3 weeks ago and started Victoza (injectable) instead of Januvia. And a week ago, after reading that artificial sweeteners may interfere with weight loss, I quit chewing gum. My fasting BG has been running in the neighborhood of 150 to 180. I've lost 10 pounds in the past couple of weeks. Whether the Victoza or omitting the gum or a combination, I can't be sure, although Victoza is supposed to help you lose weight as well as helping manage BG.

Let's find out what Tim Ferriss diet is like. I was alarmed when I visited Dr Nagy this week and he demonstrated that I already have neuropathy in the toes and legs. I don't want to lose my legs to diabetes.
