Weight History

Start Weight
207.0 lb
Lost so far: 3.4 lb

Current Weight
203.6 lb
Performance: losing 0.8 lb a week

Goal Weight
130.0 lb
Still to go: 73.6 lb
Was at my heaviest weight of 227 lbs for my 35th birthday in August. Went through a period of depression and lost about 10lbs. Never was really eating bad, maybe just larger quantities than I should have. Recently went to the doctor in December and my sugars were categorized as "borderline." Diabetes runs in my family and the last thing I want to be is diabetic. I knew I had to make a change in a big way to lower sugars, carbs and my weight to finally get back to my goal of 130 lbs. I have been getting creative with my cooking as I would still like to enjoy the food I love, but just in moderation. My co-worker recommended the app and he uses it regularly to help watch as he is a type 2 diabetic. I've never been one for calorie counting, but this app makes it easy to do. Now granted I only started recording at like 207 lbs or so, but I'm looking at the whole picture since August.

Getting over the hump
Well it feels like when I want to get over the hump of 200 lbs it seems to take FOREVER! I know I have to respect the process, but I have kicked up my exercise routine from doing no exercise to at least 3-4 days at the gym. Just thought it would be start really falling off. The goal is to get to college weight (130, but I'd be happy with 140) by my birthday in August. Calorie intake has been pretty on point for the most part and most days is under. This plateau phase really grinds my gears. Ok...rant over.

Exercise/Tracking
So question to all. I recently got a knock off exercise tracker, a Teslasz, which is pretty great. Monitors steps, sleep, heart rate and such. Also joined a gym to re-introduce exercise into my routine to help get more of the weight off. I don't know if its just me, but I eat a piece of fruit about an hour to hour and a half before I go to the gym and I am not hungry after at all. I drink a lot of water during the day and while at the gym, but my appetite is way suppressed. Question Question Anyone else have similar stories or suggestions? I don't wanna skip meals, but not trying to eat if I'm not hungry.

Little slip ups
Sad Sad Sad Well yesterday I kinda fell off the wagon. Stress eating at work and when I got home. Busy and frustrating day. Have to remember that to error is human and I just can't make a habit of it. To get back on, I am going to the gym tonight to work off that frustration in a positive way. #iwillgetthere

Hey there and Hello!
Hey and hello from Pittsburgh, PA! My name is Kristen. Here's my story: Was at my heaviest weight of 227 lbs for my 35th birthday in August. Went through a period of depression and lost about 10lbs. Never was really eating bad, maybe just larger quantities than I should have. Recently went to the doctor in December and my sugars were categorized as "borderline." I have been getting creative with my cooking as I would still like to enjoy the food I love, but just in moderation. My co-worker recommended the app and he uses it regularly to help watch as he is a type 2 diabetic. I've never been one for calorie counting, but this app makes it easy to do. I am currently down to 207 lbs and only plan on going lower.
