Hello Friday! Long week. Feeling better today than I did yesterday. I think another 2-3 more days and I'll feel more normal. Hopefully have some energy back.

We rented Aquaman last night.... 3 grown women watched it, and thought it was more of a comedy than an action film. One of my friends pointed out that he looks like a corn on the cob in the gold and green outfit at the end. There is a scene where the female lead is running across rooftops to escape pursuit... and I just started singing the mario theme music. It fit so perfectly. It had some pretty scenery, landscapes, and creatures that were neat. But I was not a big fan of the movie in general. But all in all a fun night with a couple of friends.

Trying to get by on Ibprofen and icepacks alone today, wish me luck. Leftovers for dinner tonight. Chicken and dumplings, sausage, Asian inspired peppered beef and rice. Green beans, fresh carrots, and black olives. Kinda nice when I only have to nuke food for dinner. :)

Well that's all folks. I hope everyone has a Great Weekend. ^_^

Sooo. Big loss on the scale. But I didn't get it the way I wanted too. Very eventful last few days.

Bit down on something Saturday at lunch, and had a sharp pain in one of my molars. The pain went away, didn't think nothing of it. Got a massive headache later that Saturday. Woke up Sunday with my lower left jaw swollen, and hurting. Went to urgent care, had an abscessed tooth and a sinus infection. Lucky me. So got a shot of antibiotics and anti-inflammatory as well as a prescription for antibiotics. Went to the dentist Monday, he looked at my mouth, prescribed a zpack, then follow it up with the antibiotics I got at urgent care and to come back in a week and a half to have the tooth that I had cracked removed once the infection and inflation went away. Well...Tuesday afternoon, the abscess ruptured (So gross) and ended up back at the dentist Wednesday. The swelling hadn't really gone down, and the doc and I decided to go ahead and pull it, he also lanced my gums and drained the infection. Put a few stitches in to hold it all together. -_-

Get to work today and my coworker is obviously angry with me for being out three days. And I can understand it, I've missed several days recently due to medical reasons. I'm postponing strong pain killers til after work, so I can come to work today and tomorrow. And working 8hrs while dealing with my jaw throbbing, and just get cold shoulder and snarky remarks. Enough of about that.

My Husband will be out of town for a few days too, and just feeling a bit down, and hurting don't help. The only bright side is the scale going down so much. Haven't been able to eat much today either.

Got a call from the specialist's office today too, about all the back stuff. I'll see them on June 19th. Initial appointment will be with the Physician's assistant, and we'll go from there.

Anywho, plans for the next few days. Be mindful of choices and serving size. Eat soft things. Drink lots of fluid, and follow my dentist instructions.

Well, not much of a loss but I'll take it!! .3 lbs down! Yay!

Also Happy Arbor Day! Where I work plants a tree every year. This year the tree is being planted across the street from my office. I actually have a Japanese maple at home I need to get in the ground, going to arm the older children with shovels and make them dig. My job will soley be supervising and making sure the tree is planted at the angle that shows it off from the start of the garden path. ^_^ The red is really dramatic against the green of the woods behind our home. I also have a snowball viburnum to plant as well, so going to really make them work. lol.

So pain today is worse than yesterday. My lower back, right at the spine is sore. I keep getting a bee sting sensation, and my left leg has increased numbness down the back of it, and random pinprick sensations. The cold brick walls in my office feel lovely on my back thought. I usually lean back in my office manager's office when I'm speaking with her. And today It just felt so good. I may pick up my cold pack and bring it to work with me after lunch. I think it will help. Wish I would have remembered it this morning, but you know what they say about hindsight.

Bittersweet moment this morning. My tiny terror is almost 2. And a few days ago I got a call saying they had an opening in daycare she's been wait listed for since she was 3 months old. She will be starting there next week in the 2 yr old room and they will start potty training her from that point on as well. She's been ready for potty training for while now, but her current daycare was not willing to do that. And even though I've been trying at home with her, I only have her 2 full days on the weekend. And only have her for a couple hours in the morning and about 3hrs at night on week days. So my baby is growing up. She's starting to speak in 3-4 word sentences too. Gonna stop myself here...could talk about kids all day..

So goals for today. Be productive. Be positive. Take a moment to enjoy the nice weather before summer really and truly gets here. Be mindful of what I stuff my face with. Have a Great Day Everyone!!

I haven't logged my weight in awhile. This morning it was back at 376.5. It had jumped up to 383 and has slowly come back down from that. Salt and water retention I think. I'm fairly certain I have lost more weight than that, because my clothes are fitting differently now. Jeans not as tight even from a week ago. And some of my 'go to' pairs are just too loose. lol. I usually weigh every morning if I remember or have time to. Sometimes it just feels like someone is stepping on the back of my scale adding weight.... But the more I stick to my plan, the faster I lose, the better I feel, which leads to the will power to keep going.

My office was re-arranged yesterday, so while I didn't move anything heavy, I had more movement at work than I usually do. I think I may have stressed my back, I spent quite a bit of time last night with the cold pack strapped to my lower back. -_- And it's still sore/achy this morning. My left leg is stiff, increased numbness down the back of the leg. Sitting too long makes it hurt when I have to get up to walk or move. Add what looks like rain today, and I think I'm in for a long day. Probably going to a very long hot shower tonight, it always makes my back feel better. Then strap the ice pack to it again afterwards.

Really ready for Friday to be done with, so I can get to the weekend. We've been busy for weeks with different things going on each weekend. So I'm ready for a weekend at home. I have a few projects I want to get done. Mostly cleaning and organizing. I bought 2 new storage shelves for the toddler's toys. My hubby 3D printed some wall mount hooks for me about a month ago. They're going in our entry way area to hand back packs, purses, and diaper bags on. Very excited for that. Kids = Clutter. No doubt about it.

My youngest thought the scale was loads of fun. Apparently flowers and extra feet help. ;) On a side note, she also weighed herself this morning as well. lol. I think she likes the blue light that comes on.

So short goal. See even a half pound lower on the scale. Really could use that small scale victory. :) Need that extra push of motivation.

If you've read this far. You are Awesome, and have incredible perseverance. I hope you have a Wonderful Day.

Well.. The last week has been busy. I had a doc appointment about pain management last Wed. Then the MRI of my back last friday. I got the results this afternoon from my doctor. I have a herniated disc and compression of the L5 root nerve. My primary care doc has referred me to a specialist. It could have been worse, so there is that. I'm hoping I can get through all this with physcial therapy. Also looking into buy a very large above ground pool to swim in, since from my reading online that would be an excellent way to get exercise and not put more pressure on my back. Only question is, will I be able to prep the area for the pool... One of my worries.

Anywho, I didn't track calories over the weekend. Just made smarter choices on Saturday, and enjoyed myself Easter Sunday. Great memories with my family. :) Good food as well. lol.
