10 May 2019

Had a nice loss on the scale this morning. I knew it would be when I stepped on for shits and giggles last night while getting ready for bed and it was 372.4 lbs.

Dinner last night didn't go exactly to plan. I got called at work at 2pm, because my 2yr might have pink eye. So I had to pick her up and take her to the doctor. Pretty much boils down to she's too young to diagnose with allergies, but it's probably allergies. My husband, my 10yr old, and I all struggle with seasonal allergies, so I figured she would too. She had issues with the tear duct in that eye as an infant, and it still gets drainage occasionally when her sinus are having issues. It's not slowing her down any, and she's not running a fever. Doc said I could put the eye goop on it to help with it, but she's free and clear to return to daycare.

So since I got of work a little early and was near walmart and target anyways, we went birthday shopping for her. :) Her big present is power wheels Jeep that won't get here til next week. She loves babies. So she's getting a 'Potty Dance' baby that will make peepee sounds when sat on her potty. We're currently potty training, so pretend with her doll will help her as well. Also got a doll with a pacifier that makes a variety of sounds, and phrases. And new bedding for her big girl bed she'll get this weekend or mid next week, added bonus: it was on clearance! She loves the trolls movie, so that's what I got her. My friend is giving us a twin bed she had in her guest room for a few months before she put it in storage. So growing up!!

Ended up picking up some Fried Chicken Tenders for the family, mash potatoes, mac&cheese. Then heated up the corn on the cob from the other night, and sliced some cucumbers and tomatoes. My friend Ash came over with her 4 kids and ate with us. She picked up my oldest from afterschool care when she got her girls, so it was the nice thing to do. And it was pouring rain right at dinner time. She's in the process of buying a home and moving in the next month, so I try to help my friends as best I can. Her kids even cleared the table and put the leftovers in the fridge. :) Good Kids.

I was mindful what I ate last night, and honestly wasn't really hungry. And full of tomatoes and cucumber slices. A chicken tender, and I was done. My jaw was achy too, so that probably factored in, and I was just tired. Sooo tired.

I meant to weighin this morning, but there was no time for it. The tiny terrible toddler was wake and wreaking havoc. Had to put her in overalls instead of pjs last night.. two nights running she's undressed herself when we put her down for bed. -_- Welcome to parenthood. It was either the overalls or duct tape her shirt to her pants. lol. She managed to get her arms out of the overalls, but I guess gave up and went to sleep. lol.

Changed up breakfast this morning, and I'll probably regret it in about an hour or so...It's one of the few foods I can have issues with since my gallbladder was taken out almost a decade ago. I was craving it this morning. I don't eat a lot of fat, so probably my body's way of telling me I need a little extra.

Lunch and dinner should be pretty lean so it'll be okay. Working on a Publix delivery for this evening. Also want to go shop some sales at Winn-Dixie and pick up some seafood options. My friend who is moving out hates seafood, so we haven't eaten it often in the last year. So I figured we would celebrate have the house to ourselves next week with a couple nights of seafood. Fish and shrimp!! Yum!! I let my friend and her daughter pick dinner for Friday. Peppered beef strips and jasmine rice with carrots. And for me some stir-fried cabbage. Saturday will be a day of moving people, and a taco party night with some close friends to celebrate my youngest daughter turning 2. Taco 'Two'sday - get it?? lol. Awful pun but yeah. Been debating making a cake or buying one. Leaning towards buying one since we'll be busy moving stuff out the house. Me...no heavy lifting. Mostly supervising the preteens and the tiny terror.

Enough rambling. Have a great day everyone!!

Goooood Morning Everyone!! Wishing you all a Wonderful Wednesday.

Got on the scale this morning. It's only up 1.2lbs And I've got some fluid retention in my lower legs/ankles right now. :3 Just need to get off all these antibiotics and I think the scale will jump down a few more pounds.

Made homemade meatballs for dinner last night. They were delicious. :) Got a taste of what it will be like once my friend who has been living with us the last year and her daughter move out. So Quiet in the house. It was nice. ^_^

I'll have a short lunch break today. Took off a little early yesterday to sign tax stuff. But I'll have time for a simple lunch and to grab some other fruit for snacks at work. Also have to pull pork chops out of the freezer to defrost for dinner tonight.

That's all for today. Tonight's plans: More never-ending laundry. Maybe a walk around the back yard if the tiny terror goes to bed okay.

So the good part of the morning. Pineapple upside down cake for breakfast. 232 calories, and 15 grams of protein!! Made a basic yellow angel food cake and sugar free yellow cake mix muffin in the microwave. Then had half a serving of greek yogurt sweetened with sucra drops, and fresh pineapple. It was divine. Two thumbs way up! Need to try it with lemon and blueberries.

Ended up back at the dentist today, apparently i get to see him twice this week as well. He took another xray of my jaw, removed the stitches he put in last week, and prescribed a different antibiotic. I see him again Friday. Good news is no infection or inflammation around any other teeth, but still have some inflammation in my jaw. If it doesn't clear up by Friday, he wants me to see my primary care doctor since the infection is more towards my lower jaw and near the lymph node on that side. UGH. Ready for the pain to stop, but at least it's better than it was.

I had a little energy last night...and I dug a hole and planted a ornamental maple tree and watered it in. It kicked my ass, and my back was sore afterwards, twitchy even. But yay Exercise! lol. Tonight I'm going to take it easy and just work on laundry.

Have a Great Day!

Good Morning. :)

Off to a good start today, even if the scale has been stuck 4lbs above my last weighin all weekend. Pain, meds, salt...yeah I think it'll come down hopefully by this weekend.

Experimented with angelfood cake microwave muffins this weekend. Local, low fat, need to figure out how to up the protien though.

Current recipe that tastes okay and is fluffy like it should be:

1/2 serving of angel food cake mix
1/2 serving sugar free yellow cake mix
1/2 serving of lite designer cookies and cream protein powder
2-3 tablespoons of water.
Microwave for 1 min.
calories: 162
protein: 7.2
carbs: 33.3
fat: 1.8

Thinking of trying to use a little greek yogurt in the recipe and maybe some lemon juice, and/or vanilla protien powder. Basically a low calorie, high protien lemon cake, maybe top it with a tablespoon of coolwhip and some fresh berries. Mmmm. Sound so good in my head. lol. Also lunch is 45mins away.

On my Jaw infection front. Finished my zpack on Friday and switched to clindamycin per my dentist orders. I think the infection is resistant to it. As soon as I switched to the 2nd antibiotic, all of saturday it started hurting worse and worse, started getting hot to the touch, and felt like a small marble under the skin at my jaw. Pain radiating into my ear and down into the lymph node area on my neck. Pardon my language, but it sucks. -_- Plain and simple. But I'm at work today.

In other news my baby turned 2 yesterday. :) Time really flies when they're so young. Doesn't seem like that long ago we were celebrating her 1st birthday.

Anywho, hope everyone is off to a good start this week.
