I feel like I am getting a better understanding of all this.
1) My body doesn't want to let go of the weight, LOL!!!
2) I am okay with fasting. I've been doing daily 20hr IF and it has been a great experience. I will admit the ketone supplement (Perfect Keto) has been a game changer for me. It gives me an enormous amount of energy on top of the already nice boost from being in ketosis. I understand that taking the supplement does NOT add to burning for more fat, but my reason for taking it is for the extra boost towards workouts.
3) Daily weighing is no longer necessary for me, yay!!!
4) Too much protein does matter.
5) And I found out raw zucchini & I do not play well together!! Let me leave it at that...

Back and still keto-ing. However, I had to step a way and reevaluate everything. I started this journey about a month ago and immediately experienced benefits. I felt a reduction in bloating the very next day! My weight dropped 3lbs by the end of the week. My energy soared and my appetite was curbed through the day.
But...
My weight went back up 2lbs, but inches continued to disappear. However, I was still puzzled with the scale. I know. The scale does not tell the complete story and to be fully honest...I have been very slack in tracking my macros. So I tracked again and WOW! I was eating way too much protein. Now fast forward to current situation.
I am finding myself hungry under my current macros. It is not unbearable. I have implemented using MCT oil. I am being very mindful in my protein intake and I am back to 157.4 lbs. I also ordered and will start using a keto supplement...Perfect Keto. I want to experiment to see if it will add an additional boost to my workout. My next order of business is to research if I should continue using the BCAA supplements.

Day 24
I haven't journaled much, but I am still here. My weight hasn't changed which in the past would've been discouraging, but one of the things I am noticing is I feel "thinner." Also for now, I am not being tortured with cravings. I will admit to small little voices saying, "wouldn't it be nice to have just a bite of..." But it has been fairly easy to shut it off. I've even collected "keto-friendly" recipes for just incase a sweet tooth hits me. However, I do not want to prepare anything and a wake the horrible beast. I figure if I can say no...no need to give in to dessert like treats.
