In September at GNO, when I bent over to keep from passing out, I noticed I couldn't get my head between my legs because of my stomach! Ever since then I've been depressed about this, but not really doing anything. Then I noticed my size 14 clothes didn't fit either when I tried to get into my suits. (I guess I was wearing stretchy-stuff during the summer.
Now the holidays are here and I'm eating pies and rolls and not making changes in my eating habits even though I think about cutting out sugar and flour out of my diet. That's the problem, I THINK about it, I don't ACT.
On a positive note, I have been exercising more. Not where I should be, but making a good effort. Yesterday I did the top of Mills and pushed myself. My time was 1-1/2 hours.

11-8-09 Did poorly these last two months. Have not kept up with exercise and went on a seven-day cruise which totally messed up any kind of sensible eating. Did lose about 3 lbs. since getting off the ship though by eating light at night.

Tonight I am meeting friends for a "bon voyage" party with my husband. Us three girlfriends are going on a Mexican Riveria cruise. My goal is to be as active as possible (walking fast on the deck, exercise room, walking up stairs instead of the elevator). Will limit myself to "tastes" instead of "scoops" of all the delicious food I probably will encounter. 10-23-09
