I feel like today I am on my way. I went to the gym after work and walked on the treadmill for 1 and 1/2 miles and it felt good. Then I pampered myself by sitting in the sauna and listening to Christian music. Nobody was in there with me so I sang along with the music. Then I woke up this morning at the time I planned and have walked 1 mile with the tape Walke of The Pounds. So I am feeling more optimistic and ready to embrace my day.
Hugs again to my buddie Brandy as she is my inspiration. She is my push to get going on this. Thanks darling and congrats on all of your weight loss.

I was reading back over the journal entry I made November 29 and I am ready after yesterday to start over again and stick to it this time. I joined a few challenges, one being 40 oz. of water a day, 10 pushups and 10 situps a day. It was a little challenge, but I need little challenges to get on track. So my challenge to me is to just that - get on track, do the little things and work toward the big things. Mostly, I need to learn to love me and realize I am worth it. Somewhere along the way I have lost that feeling, so if anyone has any good reads on how to find ME again, and love ME again, I would love to be pointed in the right direction.

I am out of control and need to find out why. Anybody have any advice, I would appreciate it. I eat because I am happy to make it even better. I eat when I am sad to feel better. I eat because I am bored, tired, and on and on and on. I feel so down because I am so out of control. I can't seem to make sense of it.
Help somebody!

Not been doing too very well. Keep letting things in life send me back to eating, as if that will make things better. Only have three days to lose 4.5 pound to meet the challenge, but I am going to try.
I plan to drink only water, do isometrics every morning, treadmill each night, and try to do little things like pushups, walking in place, etc. all day long. I will get back on Thanksgiving. Then it will be time to start a new challenge and this time do it.

Didn't do so well today. Tired and just plain felt yuck, so I had some candy and a drink from starbucks. Naturally it didn't help, so I went shopping for some pants and felt worse. So I called my daughter and another friend and we agreed feeling good in my clothes would help, so I went and bought a pair of pants that made me feel better. Also had a good salad for dinner, not my usual McDonalds and 2 bottles of water, so I am back on track. Rock on.
